William P. Storer is owner and president of Business Golf Strategies, Inc. (BGS), which is a training company dedicated to a unique mission: teaching business people how to maximize their performance and the Return on Investment from golf as a business entertainment tool.
Storer realized that businesses are increasingly turning to entertaining on the golf course in hopes of strengthening clients' relationships and building revenues. He also saw the need for training personnel in positive and professional behavior during less formal situations.
Bill developed an intensive seminar program, combining application of sales principles and relationship building techniques with instruction in the rules of golf and the 17 points of business golf etiquette.
He says, "A golf date should be viewed much like any other aspect of business. If used properly, there is no better, more cost-effective method of client entertainment. After all, where else can you have what amounts to a six-hour sales call in such a pleasant environment?"
