On the 2000 European Tour, Steve ranked 5th in Driving Distance (290.5), 24th in Putts in GIR (1.771), 26th in Putts per Round (29.2), and 29th in Longest Drive (363.0). He tied for 4th in the Standard Life Loch Lomond, 6th in the Compaq European Grand Prix, 7th in the TNT Dutch Open, and 11th in the Victor Chandler British Masters.
Steve's best finish on the 2001 PGA Tour was a tie for 19th in the Buick Classic.
