Ray Floyd had 22 PGA tour victories: 1963 St. Petersburg Open Invitational, 1965 St. Paul Open Invitational, 1969 Greater Jacksonville Open, American Golf Classic, PGA Championship, 1975 Kemper Open, 1976 Masters Tournament, World Open Golf Championship, 1977 Byron Nelson Golf Classic, Pleasant Valley Classic, 1979 Greater Greensboro Open, 1980 Doral-Eastern Open, 1981 Doral-Eastern Open, Tournament Players Championship, Manufacturers Hanover Westchester Classic, 1982 Memorial Tournament, Danny Thomas Memphis Classic, PGA Championship, 1985 Houston Open, 1986 U.S. Open Championship, Walt Disney World/Oldsmobile Classic, and 1992 Doral-Ryder Open.

He has 14 Senior PGA Tour victories: 1992 GTE North Classic, Ralphs Senior Classic, SENIOR TOUR Championship. 1993 Gulfstream Aerospace Invitational, Northville,Long Island Classic, 1994 The Tradition, Las Vegas Senior Classic, Cadillac NFL Golf Classic, GOLF MAGAZINE SENIOR TOUR Championship, 1995 PGA Seniors' Championship, Burnet Senior Classic, Emerald Coast Classic, 1996 FORD SENIOR PLAYERS Championship, and 2000 FORD SENIOR PLAYERS Championship.

Ray also has may international victories: 1992 Fuji Electric Grandslam, 1994 Diners Club Matches (with Dave Eichelberger), 1994 Senior Skins Game, 1995 Senior Skins Game, Senior Slam at Los Cabos, Office Depot Father/Son Challenge (with Raymond, Jr.), Lexus Challenge (with Michael Chiklis), 1996 Senior Skins Game, Senior Slam at Los Cabos, Office Depot Father/Son Challenge (with Raymond, Jr.), 1997 Senior Skins Game, Office Depot Father/Son Challenge (with Raymond, Jr.), Lexus Challenge (with William Devane), 1998 Senior Skins Game, 2000 Office Depot Father/Son Challenge (with Robert).

His 2001 successes include tying for 2nd at the Verizon Classic, and The Transamerica, tying for 5th at the NFL Golf Classic, and SBC Championship, and tying for 6th at the FORD SENIOR PLAYERS Championship.

In 2000, Ray was voted by his peers as the Comeback Player of the Year. His other honors include being named Golf World's "Man of the Year" for 1992, and, along with his family, Golfweeks 1994 "Golf Family of the Year".

In 2000, Ray was among the top 31 money-winners for the ninth straight season despite only playing in 19 official tournaments, the fewest appearances he's made on the SENIOR TOUR since 1993. He started his campaign with a T2 at the MasterCard Championship in Hawaii, finishing three strokes back of John Jacobs. He also made a run at the Ameritech Senior Open in Chicago during the summer, but fell one stroke short of Hale Irwin at Kemper Lakes. Ray's runner-up check at the Ameritech put him over the $12 million mark in all-time earnings. He finished out of the top-20 only once after the Las Vegas Senior Classic in mid-May and was the only senior to make the cut at The Masters (T38). For the second straight year, he posted his low round of the season at the Vantage Championship, a 65 on Sunday at Tanglewood. He carded a score of par or better in every final round from the Nationwide Championship thru the Pacific Bell Senior Classic and was runner-up to Hale Irwin in the Senior Skins Game.
