
Rachel Teske started playing golf at the age of 14 and hasn't stopped since.
As an ameteur, Teske won the New South Wales Junior from 1989-92. She captured both the NSW Amateur Open and the Tasmanian Amateur Open titles in 1992. That same year she finished as the runner-up in the New Zealand Amateur. Teske was a three-time member of the Australian Tasman Cup Team in 1989, 1991 and 1993.
Since joining the LPGA, she has won 4 tournaments including the 2001 Evian Masters, 1999 City of Hope Myrtle Beach Classic, 1999 Chick-fil-A Charity Championship and the 1998 First Union Betsy King Classic. During 2001 she tied for second at the Nabisco Championship to mark her best finish ever in a major championship and set a new career-low score of 64 during the final round of the Sybase Big Apple Classic.
Teske married Dean Teske in May 1998 but played as Rachel Hetherington from 1997-2000. Her hobbies include music, movies, relaxing on the beach and hiking.
