
Matt Gogel is one of the young rising stars on the PGA Tour. In his rookie season, Matt burst on the scene with a tremendous start to 2000. He recorded a second place finish at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am and a seventh place finish at the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic. He finished his rookie season 80th on the money list with $604,199. In 2001, Matt earned a top-5 finish at the John Deere Classic.
Matt has worked very hard to get to golf's highest level. He was on the top of the NIKE Tour by winning six times. His 1999 season produced two victories and placed Matt in seventh place on the NIKE Tour money list. The ranking earned Matt the lifelong dream of receiving his fully exempt PGA Tour Card.
Matt is playing the best golf of his life and is very confident his success will continue on the PGA Tour. It will not be long before Matt finds himself in the winner's circle.
