Mathew Goggin's victories include international and US tours. In addition to two BUY.COM wins in 1999, at the Lehigh Valley Open and the Omaha Classic, Mathew won the 1998 Australasian Tour Championship, the 1997 San Paolo Vita Open, and the 1996 Dutch Open.
This Australian native has done well throughout the golf world. He was a runner-up in the 1999 Dominion Open on the BUY.Com Tour, the 1998 Australian Masters, and the 1998 Peugot Open de France. He was a member of the Member, 1998 PGA European Tour.
On the 2000 PGA Tour repeatedly placed well, tying for 3rd in the Greater Milwaukee Open, placing 9th in the B.C. Open, tying for 12thin the SEI Pennsylvania Classic, tying for 13th in the Air Canada Championship. Mathew also ranked 9th in driving distance (286.3), 13th in ball striking, 15th in total eagles (10), 19th in greens in regulation (69.3%) and scoring average, final round (70.00), and 22nd in total driving.
He was the 1995 Australian Amateur Champion and was named 1995 Amateur of the Year in Australia.
Golfing runs in the family. His mother, Lindy, is a three-time Australian Amateur Champion.
