Biographical Information

Mark Calcavecchia is a PGA Tour winner, with victories including the 2001 Phoenix Open, 1987 and 1998 Honda Classics, and 1997 Greater Vancouver Open. He has competed and won worldwide, including 1989 British Open, the Argentine Open in 1993 and 1995, and Australian Open in 1988. An aggressive player, Mark approaches each day and every game as a new opportunity to do well. This very characteristic has helped him win 10 PGA Tour victories, along with 5 other tournament wins in the 20 years he has been playing professionally.

His other achievements include setting the PGA Tour record for the lowest weekend score having the most strokes under par for 72 holes in a PGA Tournament at the Phoenix Open in 2001. Mark continues to rank in the top ten both individually and as a team player; he is a three-time member of the U.S. Ryder Cup Team (1987, 1989, 1991) and a two-time member of the Dunhill Cup Team (1989, 1990). Mark has maintained high ranking on the money list, finishing 23rd in 2000.

While keeping his golf scores low, Mark aims for the high scores in bowling, with an average of well over 200. He goes to rock concerts such as Pearl Jam and Rush. As a family man, he most enjoys spending time with his kids.
