
Maggie Will has three LPGA victories: 1990 Desert Inn LPGA International, 1992 Sara Lee Classic, and 1994 Children's Medical Center LPGA Classic. In 2001, she tied for 10th at the McDonald's LPGA Championship Presented by AIG. In 2000, she crossed the $1 million mark in career earnings following the Safeway LPGA Golf Championship. She also recorded two top-10 finishes: a tie for seventh at the Safeway LPGA Golf Championship and a tie for 10th at the Weetabix Women's British Open, in addition to firing a season-low 66 during the final round of the Weetabix Women's British Open.
Maggie's prior golf experience includes competing on the Futures Tour. As an amateur, Will was runner-up at the 1980 Carolinas PGA Junior Championship and captured the title in 1981-82. She added a runner-up finish in 1982 at the PING Junior Classic. Will participated in the Henredon Classic in 1985 as an amateur, and that same year finished fifth at the North Carolina Women's Amateur. The following season, she won the North Carolina Women's Amateur. At Furman University, she was a member of the 1987 runner-up NCAA Championship team.
In addition to playing, Maggie's involvement in golf extends to being a member of the 2001 LPGA Tour Executive Committee. She is also writing articles about the sport and is a featured columnist for the GolfPodium.com.
Her other interests include flying, fitness, swimming and tennis.
