
Kelli Kuehne turned pro in 1996 and has one LPGA victory to her credit. She won the 1999 LPGA Corning Classic. In 2001 she placed in the top 10 of the Wegmans Rochester International, Wendy's Championship for Children, US Women's Open Championship, Weetabix Women's British Open and the Montreal Canadian Women's Open.
Kuehne owns one of the most impressive amateur golf resumes of all time. She is one of only two players in USGA history to win the U.S. Junior Girls Championship (1994) and the U.S. Women's Amateur Championship (1995) in successive years. In 1996, she won the British Women's Amateur Championship, as well as the U.S. Women's Amateur Championship, becoming the only golfer in history to win those two championships in the same year. Kuehne was also a member of the 1996 U.S. Curtis Cup and World Amateur Teams and earned first team All-American honors at the University of Texas.
Her hobbies include spending time outdoors, being with her friends, family and two dogs (Bailey and Bogey) and attending her husband's NFL games. She married Jay Thomas Humphrey in February 2000. Other mentionables are that she qualified for the Tour on her first attempt, is a spokesperson for Juvenile Diabetes Foundation (JDF), and is the winner of the 2000 Daytona Beach (Fla.) Kiwanis Foundation Humanitarian of the Year Award. She represents Nike, Top-Flite and Aventis Pharmaceuticals.
