John Maginnes earned his tour card in 1998 by finishing 5th on the Nike Tour Money List. John followed this impressive achievement with a successful year on the PGA Tour in 1999, earning over $425,000, 93rd place on the money list, allowing John to keep his Tour card for the 2000 season. After two solid years, John is poised to build on his success and earn his first Tour victory.
One of the Tour's straightest drivers, John once said, "This is the greatest job in the world. I just wish I could do it better."
John lives in Greensboro, North Carolina with his wife Dena, and son Jack. When John is not working on his game or spending time with his family, he enjoys participation in clinics and corporate outings.
