John Huston has had 6 PGA TOUR VICTORIES: 1990 Honda Classic, 1992 Walt Disney World/Oldsmobile Classic, 1994 Doral-Ryder Open, 1998 United Airlines Hawaiian Open, National Car Rental Golf Classic/Disney and 2000 Tampa Bay Classic.
His best finish in 2001 was in the Mercedes Championships where he placed 5th. He ranks 100th in Money Leaders on the PGA TOUR.
In 2000, in addition to his win at the Tampa Bay Classic, John tied for 3rd at the Sony Open in Hawaii, came in 4th at the U.S. Open Championship and the GTE Byron Nelson Classic, tied for 5th at the BellSouth Classic, tied for 7th at the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic, and tied for 9th at the MCI Classic and the Canon Greater Hartford Open. He also eclipsed $1.5 million in earnings for the third consecutive season.
Twice John was on The Presidents Cup Team, in 1994 and 1998.
John involves his family in golf. With his daughter, Jessica, he won the Father-Daughter tournament at 1997 National Car Rental Golf Classic at Walt Disney World Resort. His sister, Julie Jones, caddied for John during record-breaking performance at 1997 United Airlines Hawaiian Open. "She never said one word to me all week, she was scared stiff," Huston said.
