
Joe Ogilvie is an up and coming talent in the world of Professional Golf. He turned pro in 1996, upon graduating from Duke University with a degree in economics. In his rookie season on the PGA tour, he gained a tremendous amount of experience and finished 142nd on the 1999 money list. Joe showed a toughness and inner confidence as a player by retaining his PGA Tour Card at the 1999 PGA Tour Qualifying School. Joe earned his way on the PGA Tour by having a successful 1998 season on the NIKE tour, including victories at the NIKE Monterrey Mexico Open and the NIKE Greensboro Open.
In 2000, Joe's PGA Tour finishes included a tie for 4th in the FedEx St. Jude Classic, tie for 6th in The International Presented by Qwest, and a tie for 10th in the B.C. Open. He ended the year 14th on the money list.
In 2001, Joe tied for 17th in the Canon Greater Hartford Open, tied for 18th in the Marconi Pennsylvania Classic, tied for 20th in the Advil Western Open and tied for 25th in the British Open Championship. He ranks T27th in Putting Average on the PGA TOUR.
Joe is a bright young man who is mature and focused. Joe's first showed signs of being a great player as a kid in his hometown of Lancaster, Ohio. After competing around the country as a junior golfer, Joe was awarded a full tuition scholarship to Duke University.
