
Jimmy Green turned pro in 1992. His best PGA Tour finish in 2001 was a tie for 7th at the Michelob Championship at Kingsmill, helping to rank him tied for 76th in total eagles. In 2000, he tied for 4th at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am.
Jimmy finished 12th on the 1999 BUY.COM TOUR official money list with $129,692 and won his second career BUY.COM TOUR event at the Knoxville Open. Jimmy joined the BUY.COM TOUR in 1995 and won the Tri-Cities Open that same year. He never finished lower than 60th on the money list in five BUY.COM TOUR seasons (1995-99). In 1996, he won the NIKE Buffalo Open on the BUY.com Tour, with his wife, Kelly, caddying for him for the first time.
His uncle, Mike Gove, played on the PGA TOUR from 1980-86.
