
Jim Carter claimed victory at the 2000 Touchstone Energy Tucson Classic on the PGA Tour. His other wins include Buy.com's 1994 New Mexico Classic, along with Arizona State Amateur Championship and Southwest Amateur Championship twice each.
Jim has ranked among the top 25 eight times, including three top-10s. The first top-10 of the year that he earned was at the Buick Classic. With a driving accuracy of 73.1%, Jim ranks 24th in this category. He finished fourth on 1994 BUY.COM TOUR money list.
Arizona State University, Jim's alma mater, bestowed upon him the honor of induction into their Sports Hall of Fame, in 1995. While a student there, he had won the 1983 NCAA Championship.
In addition to golf, Jim enjoys outdoor time spent hiking, mountain biking, and watching the sunset with family and friends.
