
Jill McGill has an extraordinary amateur record that includes a 1993 win at the U.S. Women's Amateur Championship and the U.S. Public Links Championship the same year. In 1994 she was a member of the U.S. Curtis Cup team and as a collegiate player at the University of Southern California Jill was a two-time All-American.
Jill competed on the Futures Tour and the Women Professional Golfers' European Tour (WPGET) before qualifying for the LPGA Tour by tying for ninth at the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament.
During the 2001 season McGill recorded a career-best finish at the Michelob Light Classic, where she tied for second and fired a career-low score of 63 during the final round. In 2002, Jill's best finish was a tie for eighth at the Sports Today CJ Nine Bridges Classic and tied for 28th which pushed her beyond the $1 million mark in career earnings.
Jill began playing golf at the age of 12 and credits her teaching pro Randy Peterson and her parents as the individuals most influencing her career.
