James Patrick Delsing is from St. Louis, MO and turned pro in 1984.

Finished one stroke behind Jim Gallagher, Jr. at 1995 FedEx St. Jude Classic for career-best runner-up finishes. At TPC Southwind during 1993 FedEx St. Jude Classic, Delsing posted a final-round 61 for course record and a T8 finish. His best finish on TOUR money list was 52nd in 1992 on strength of four top-10 finishes and nine top-25 finishes. The best of those was fourth at Quad City Classic, T4 at Phoenix Open, T4 at Canadian Open and T7 at B.C. Open.

In 2001, Jay, as he is called, won the BUY.COM Fort Smith Classic, and ranked 31st in money with $125,374.

Jay comes from a sports family. His father, Jim, was an outfielder for New York Yankees, Chicago White Sox, St. Louis Browns and Kansas City A's.
