Broadcasting live from Monterey Bay, overlooking the ocean courses of Pebble Beach and Cypress Point, The Golf Guys reach a coast-to-coast audience every Saturday Morning from 9:00 to 11:00 am PST. In addition, The GolfGuys are also carried on the American Forces Radio Networks' 540 worldwide stations.
A little more than a year old, the program went into national syndication on its twenty-third show. With a format quite different than the other golf shows on the air, The Golf Guys deliver a fast-paced, humorous blend of golf news and commentary. With insightful guests that include industry giants like Ely Callaway; Golf Professionals such as Jack Nicklaus; celebrity golfers like Cheryl Ladd "Buick's Ambassador to Golf", and weekly contributions from GolfWeek Magazine, there is definitely something for every golfer's tastes.
The show is hosted by Dan Moschetti, who was an avid golfer until the age of 19, and then took a 25-year hiatus from the game. Because of his family's connection to the game, he spent most of his youth with some of golf's great Tour professionals. His past history along with his current position in the golf industry offers a unique perspective.
Dan's co-host, Greg Hildebrand, offers commentary and comic relief. He specializes in those fringe stories that golfers would not have access to through the mainstream media. With his average golf skills, shabby accents and flubbed lines, he is a favorite among our listeners. You can always tell it's Greg; he's the one practicing his golf swing during a meeting, or cracking a joke to get everyone smiling. He was a late bloomer in golf (age 29) when he started, but now it's "play till your hands bleed...and then some".
