
Dennis Paulson won the 2000 PGA Tour Buick Classic. His best finish on the PGA TOUR in 2001 was T2nd at the Nissan Open, helping to rank him at 64th in Money Leaders on the PGA TOUR. Other top finishes include a tie for 3rd in the BellSouth Classic and a tie for 8th in the Bay Hill Invitational.
A member of the PGA TOUR in 1994-95 and fully exempt BUY.COM TOUR member in 1997- 98, Dennis won the 1998 Hunstville Open, defeating Brent Schwarzrock in playoff. He was named BUY.COM TOUR Player of Month for May 1998 for victory and two other top 10s. He finished T4 at 1994 Freeport-McMoRan Classic after an English Turn GC course record 10-under-par 62 in secpnd round and ranked second to Davis Love III in driving distance in 1994. Dennis is a former National Long Driving Championship winner. His persisitence at PGA TOUR National Qualifying Tournament eventually rewarded him in 1993 after eight consecutive unsuccessful attempts beginning in 1985. He has had five career holes-in-one. Dennis posted three wins in 1996: Long Beach Open, Wyoming Open, and California Open. He is the winner of 1993 Utah State Open and 1990 California State Open and played three years on Asian Tour and won 1990 Philippines Open.
Dennis wore a pager during tournaments in 1997 so that wife Linda could reach him when she went into labor with their first child, Dillon Jay.
