Billy ranks 89th in Senior Career Money Leaders on the SENIOR PGA TOUR. He has finished 1st on the SENIOR PGA TOUR 9 times.
Billy was named Golfweek's Father of the Year for 1996 and was selected as the Memorial Tournament's honoree that same season. He also received the Jimmy Demaret Award at the 1996 Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf. He was the honoree at the 1997 Nissan Open in Los Angeles. Along with partner Greg Nash, he has a course design and management business. Billy lists Ben Hogan, Byron Nelson and Sam Snead as his heroes. He started playing golf with his father at age 5. He has been very involved in the annual Hassan II Trophy in Morocco.
