
Racking up a string of impressive finishes, Aaron Barber finished 4th in the 2003 Chrsyler Classic of Tucson and was named PGA Tour Rookie. He finished the 2002 PGA Tour Qualifying School tying for 8th to earn his card for the first time. He played the Canadian Tour from 1998-2002, finishing 6th on the Canadian Tour Order of Merit. All told, Aaron earned seven top-10s in 2002 and set a course record with a 63 at the TELUS Edmonton Open.
In 2001, his winning finishes included the 2001 TELUS Edmonton Open and the Barefoot Classic while finishing 2nd at the Myrtle Beach Open and completing the year with a 69.83 stroke average per round.
Among tournament plays, Aaron has competed in The Sony Open in Hawaii, The Bob Hope Chrysler Classic, The AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am, The Buick Invitational, The Chrysler Classic at Tucson, The Ford Championship at Doral as well as The Honda Classic.
Competitive throughout his college years, Aaron was named Captain of the University of Minnesota golf team along with winning the 1996 Michigan State Invitational and that same year, the Reliastar Invitational. He held the All Big Ten and Academic All American titles for three years running ? from 1994 to 1996. Graduating in 1996 from the University of Minnesota with a major in Statistics and a minor in Business Management, Aaron turned professional the same year.
When not golfing, Aaron's interests turn toward the stock market as well as the pursuit of sports and fishing. He is an active member of Lutheran Church in Minnesota and enjoys spending time with his family.
